onice is an independent hockey statistics project.
What onice is
onice publishes advanced hockey statistics: shot attempts (Corsi, Fenwick), expected goals, scoring chances, on-ice and individual numbers, goalies, lines, pairs, shifts, standings and more, for teams and players of the NHL.
Everything is calculated by us from publicly available play-by-play, shift and box score data. Models such as expected goals, RAPM and GAR are our own, so their numbers differ from those of other sites and from official statistics. The Glossary explains every column.
What you can do here
Browse the tables, team, player and game pages, compare players, follow rolling form and read the trivia pages. The same data is available through the API. See the API documentation in the footer.
Independence
onice is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Hockey League or any of its clubs. Team names, logos and player names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the teams and players the statistics are about.
